As part of our environmental initiatives pursued for several years, CYTEC continues its efforts to incorporate increasingly more recycled materials into the production of its products.

In 2022, we set ourselves an ambitious goal: to use 70% recycled plastics in our production. This goal has now been achieved.

“Not only do all our internal scraps get a second life, but we also purchase over 400 tons of recycled material,” explains Anthony Grégoire, Sales Director at CYTEC.

Historically, our products for industrial packaging already contained a significant proportion of recycled material. Recent efforts have focused particularly on visually important parts such as covers, casings, and displays, where aesthetic requirements are higher. Thanks to research and the careful selection of high-quality raw materials, we are now able to combine technical performance with environmental responsibility.

This momentum does not stop here: CYTEC now aims for a new target of 75% recycled materials by 2026, demonstrating a continuous commitment to sustainable and responsible production.

By focusing on the circular economy, CYTEC confirms its position as a committed industrial player, capable of transforming its practices to meet environmental challenges while maintaining a high level of performance.
